Our lesson plans are a suggestion, how a homeschooling day may look like. We try to divide it into 3 sections:
Early morning, when our children are the most rested and in our opinion best suited to do some more challenging work
Late morning (after a short break, when we hope children will get some healthy snack and some mild physical activity), when the brains are still fresh enough to do some actual learning
Afternoon (most likely after lunch and some rest / play in the garden), when we expect children to be a little more tired. For this time we often plan some more engaging activities, which will keep our children occupied
In each session we suggest a number of resources, suitable for a particular age group. The aim is to free parents from constant searching through the web. Instead we provide links to free materials ready to use.
We prepared a lot of materials. We do not expect children to go through all of this. The plan is to make sure there is enough workload even for the most bright children (read all of them).
We do not specify the exact time frames and how long each activity should take. It depends on each individual child, but also on the day. Oftentimes our kids can work diligently for 45 minutes to an hour. Sometimes they are tired after 20 or 30 minutes.
